Revitalization

The Town is currently is in the early stages of a downtown revitalization project which began in 2007. Our goal is to add a new sidewalk system, antique-fashion street lights and to obtain a plot of land to build an amphitheater as well as an area for the town to use during the redbud festival. Honaker is currently undergoing a restoration of its downtown core to create a more welcoming environment. This project is expected to be completed early 2017, but come visit now and be part of our future.

The Caboose was moved by Jerry Justus and friends and the Town has received funds to upgrade the unit as a welcome center for the town. the caboose is located in front of New Peoples Bank.
